Federal Student Aid
Every student should fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) as early as possible during their senior year to be considered for Federal, State, and individual colleges' financial aid money. FAFSA will open on October 1, for students who will begin college in the fall of the following year.
Additionally, completing FAFSA or TASFA is a graduation requirement.

Please bring your own device. Also, the following documents will be helpful to complete FAFSA/TASFA:
- Student: Date of Birth, Social Security Number/Alien Registration Number/Tax Returns/W2's if applicable, FSA ID, FSA password and email address.
- Parent: Date of Birth, Social Security Number/Alien Registration Number/Tax Returns/W2's, Month Year of Marriage/Marriage Status, Additional information if applicable Child Support Paid or Received, Combat Pay or Workers Compensation, Veterans non-education benefits. FSA ID, FSA password, and email address.

- The guardian and student will need to create separate FSA ID's (AKA your electronic signature)
